Hi, I'm Alex
Growing up outside of Houston, Texas in the historic town of Richmond, architecture always had an impact on me, but it wasn't until a Boy Scout merit badge class that my eyes were opened to what it really is and all it can be. I began my formal architecture education at LSU in 2010 and have since received two degrees in architecture from Texas Tech University. I know that Architects can lead methods and trends which extend to every facet of the building industry and as a discipline of innovation and precedent, it’s never a bad time to set a good example or to rethink old traditions. For these reasons, I find urban design, community planning and exhibition architecture highly fascinating and compelling. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible, positive impact architecture can have on communities and individuals and I hope, as an aspiring architect, to become a proponent of this change for other people.
