Who is our Anonymous Writer?

It has been an honor to have such a talented writer in the shadows, however, it is time to reveal who this person is. We are proud to welcome our only anonymous writer… KEVIN BARBOSA! We would love to give credit to all of the touching poems and short stories in our newsletter by Anonymous to Kevin.

My name is Kevin Barbosa and I have been the anonymous writer for Bib.Lian newsletter… till now!

I was born on October 5th, 1992 in Brownsville, Texas. I'm an English graduate who has been writing bittersweet poetry and short fiction since I existed, but did not realize I wanted to turn that hobby into a career until high school. In the past, I wrote many song lyrics, kept a dream journal, and read some influential books. In college, I began taking my writing more seriously as a writer and made a breakthrough in poetry while taking Creative Writing I. I've been published in The Rio Review, University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley’s Gallery 2016-2018 magazines, The Chachalaca Review, and a couple of zines. 

I want to achieve excellence in my literature as an individual for possible recognition to show how meaningful words created from experience, emotion, and imagination can relate to many people and make an impact as any other artist hopes to. While pursuing a creative writing career, I'm a freelance writer who spends time outside of work hanging out with family and friends, writing, or playing with my Blue Weimaraner.
