BLNKA Urban Exploration Competition - BUEC - It is time for a change!
The competition will showcase multiple visions of Lubbock’s Downtown Community by the year 2040. We are focusing on local property and business owners to re-imagine areas of downtown as preeminent stages through design proposals for properties on Broadway between Ave J & K (A-H). An open community dialogue between investors and entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate between locals to bring change to the area. Your challenge is to develop the 2040 vision of urban exploration for Lubbock’s local culture, daily life, and/or nightlife to create that change.
What do you imagine Lubbock to be in the year 2040? Do you want to win $250 in a QUICK design competition? This is open to all designers and artists. The design should evoke change to the downtown community of Lubbock. We are looking for bold and innovative concepts for Lubbock’s local culture, daily life, and/or nightlife to create that change by 2040.
